A school district wants to update their sport court surfaces as well as the light poles along the street before the start of the school year in a couple of months.

Current state and challenges:

The facility manager is overwhelmed with other projects and does not have the time or resources to get this job done. The school needs a project manager to handle this project before the start of the school year.

Process:

OTP conducts a full analysis and audit of the current scope of work, needs and requirements related to the school’s sport courts and outdoor lighting needs. Once key factors and needs are identified, OTP sets out to create and administer a comprehensive RFP process on behalf of the school which includes a detailed scope of work. OTP identifies several viable vendors to provide their proposals. OTP conducts a detailed review and comparison of the obtained proposals and conducts Q&A sessions with all the vendors to create an apples-to-apples scenario with all the bids.

The client can select the right vendor for the job and enjoys great looking sport courts and bright streetlights.
